Install the Keplr wallet
Keplr is a free browser extension that acts as your gateway to Terra Classic and the broader Cosmos blockchain ecosystem. Think of it like your personal bank account — except no bank is involved, no one can freeze it, and only you hold the keys.
Install the extension
Go to keplr.app and click "Get Keplr". Keplr supports Chrome, Brave, Arc, Edge, and Firefox. Click "Add to browser" when prompted. Once installed, you'll see the Keplr icon appear in your browser toolbar.
TipPin the Keplr extension to your toolbar so it's always one click away. In Chrome, click the puzzle-piece icon → find Keplr → click the pin.
WarningOnly install Keplr from the official website (keplr.app) or your browser's official extension store. Never install from a link sent to you in chat, email, or social media.
Create a new wallet
Click the Keplr icon in your toolbar and select "Create new wallet". You'll be asked to set a keyring password — this is the password you type every time you open Keplr on this device. Choose something strong. Don't confuse it with your seed phrase — these are two completely different things.
TipUse a password manager like 1Password, Bitwarden, or Apple Keychain to generate and store your keyring password. Never reuse a password from another site.
Choose 24-word recovery
Keplr will offer you a choice of 12 or 24-word seed phrase. Always choose 24 words — it provides significantly stronger security. This phrase is the master key to your wallet. Read the next section very carefully before you write anything down.
WarningDo not proceed past this screen until you have pen and paper ready. You will not be able to view this phrase again after closing the window.
Common Questions
Do I need to complete KYC to use Reputation.money?
No. Reputation.money is a fully decentralized app — you connect your Keplr wallet directly. No account creation, no email, no identity verification required from us.
What if I lose my seed phrase?
There is no recovery option — not from us, not from Keplr, not from anyone. If you lose your seed phrase and your device fails, your wallet is permanently inaccessible. Multiple physical backups in separate locations are non-negotiable.
How much LUNC do I need to get started?
Gas fees on Terra Classic are very low — typically under 1 LUNC per transaction. To buy tokens, you need however much you want to invest plus a 500–1,000 LUNC gas buffer. To create a token, you need $50 worth of LUNC plus gas.
Is it safe to use Keplr on a shared computer?
No. Never install or unlock a crypto wallet on a shared, public, or employer-owned device. Only use Keplr on a personal device that you fully control and that only you access.
Can I use a hardware wallet with Keplr?
Yes. Keplr supports Ledger hardware wallets, which provide the highest level of security. Your seed phrase stays on the physical device and never touches your computer or the internet.
What's the difference between LUNC and USTC?
LUNC is the native gas and governance token of Terra Classic — it's what you use to pay fees and buy reputation tokens. USTC is the old algorithmic stablecoin. Reputation.money uses LUNC exclusively.
What happens when a token graduates?
When a token hits its graduation target, 60% of pooled LUNC seeds a permanent AMM liquidity pool, 30% goes to platform operations, and 10% goes directly to the token creator. The token then trades freely on the DEX.
Can I get my listing fee back if I change my mind?
No. The $50 listing fee is paid directly to the smart contract and is non-refundable. This ensures only serious participants launch tokens and prevents spam listings.
Is there a mobile app for Keplr?
Yes. Keplr has mobile apps for iOS and Android. For the full Reputation.money experience including trading, we recommend the browser extension on desktop.
What is a referral and how does it work?
When someone uses your unique referral link to create a token, you earn 20% of their $50 listing fee in LUNC — automatically and on-chain. Visit the Referrals page to get your personal link.
